Xiaomi has introduced the updated flagship Xiaomi 12S family, which is an updated and revised edition of the Xiaomi 12 line from the end of last year. The most important changes are that TSMC’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 replaces Samsung’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and the Sony IMX707 is now available in both versions with optical image stabilization. But the nominal sensitivity of the touch sensor has decreased from 480 to 240 Hz, although the other characteristics of the “firmware” display have grown. And, of course, Leica – it is these models that are destined to open a new chapter in the development of Xiaomi cameras.
