The latest generations of Apple Watch smartwatches are not much different from each other in terms of filling. That could change this year, according to display industry authority Ross Young. According to him, the Apple Watch Series 8 expected this fall will be supplemented by a third size option in addition to the traditional 41 and 45 mm versions. Presumably, this will be a 50mm solution with a 1.99″ display for those who felt the 45mm version with 1.9″ was not large enough. An additional pinch of information is offered by Bloomberg, mentioning the S8 chipset, the performance of which “will match the 2021 S7 chip, which did not stand out from the 2020 S6.” In addition, there are rumors about the possible introduction of a body temperature sensor and even a move to a new flat glass design. We’ll find out how it works in practice in a couple of months.
