BOE convinces Apple to buy displays for iPhone 14 after scandal

It’s no secret that many companies from all over the world are engaged in the production of components for the iPhone. In particular, Samsung, LG, as well as the Chinese BOE, which was caught secretly simplifying OLED panels for the iPhone 13 , are supplying Cupertino displays with displays. In view of this, Apple has drastically reduced the share of BOE in the supply chain, and its participation in the creation of screens for the iPhone 14 was completely in question . However, Apple’s desire to diversify production turned out to be stronger: the apple tech giant certified BOE’s proposed OLED panels for the iPhone 14. Their production will start before the end of July, but the total share within the series will be modest – about 5 million panels, while Samsung and LG will produce 60 and 25 million panels respectively.
