ASUS accidentally posted a promo video of the upcoming Zenfone 9 smartphone on its YouTube channel, which made it possible to get acquainted with some of its features and specifications.
As it turned out, this model has an interesting feature – the use of a fingerprint scanner on the side to scroll through the web page. It is enough to slide your finger along the sensor surface in the right direction to scroll through the page.
The ASUS Zenfone 9’s almost complete specifications are also revealed. The device features a 5.9-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, 8GB or 16GB RAM, and 128GB or 256GB built-in storage. Also available is a dual camera (Sony IMX766 main module, complemented by a 6-axis hybrid stabilizer), a 4300 mAh battery, stereo speakers and a headphone jack. The case provides protection against dust water according to the IP68 standard.

According to preliminary data, the price of ASUS Zenfone 9 will be €800-900 (about $850-950). This is slightly higher than the starting price of the Zenfone 8 ($699). Judging by the video, various accessories will be available for the smartphone, including cases and a backpack mount.
