On the afternoon of July 14, Twitter experienced a major technical glitch. Around 15:00, users began to massively complain about problems – someone was thrown out of their account, and the rest could not update the feed.
Updated [15:39]: Twitter is back up and running. The social network did not work for about half an hour.
Users can’t sign in to either the site or the app. The TweetDeck service doesn’t work either. According to Downdetector , problems are observed all over the world, including in Ukraine.
The reasons for the failure are still unknown, but today Ukrainian users massively covered the consequences of today’s shelling of Vinnitsa by Russian invaders on the social network – as a result of a rocket attack on the city , 20 people were killed , including three children; another 90 people turned to medical institutions for help (this is preliminary data as of 15:00). At the same time, Russian bots, as always, were actively spreading fake data and attacking Ukrainian activists.
