Vietnam produces a huge number of smartphones, but mostly these are equipment from companies from other Asian countries. After VSmart left the market, only one company remained that continues to develop smartphones in Vietnam – this is the antivirus manufacturer Bkav, for which the unsuccessful mobile business is more of an image project. Perhaps that is why every year Bkav smartphones are becoming more and more budgetary, but continue to receive top-end designs. So, the new “flagship” Bphone A85 received a very modest MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset, but with it a curved (!) 6.6 “AMOLED screen with minimal frames, a frequency of 90 Hz and Full HD + resolution.
Other characteristics of the smartphone are quite trivial. The main camera is quadruple: 64 megapixel base, 5 megapixel wide and two 2-megapixel earbuds. There are two cameras on the front: 16 megapixel base and 2 megapixel plug. The battery capacity is 4200 mAh, there is support for 30-W charging, memory capacity is 8 + 128 GB. The software basis of Bkav Bphone A85 is Android 11 with a proprietary BOS 9.1 shell. The price of the novelty is 9,490,000 VND – don’t be alarmed, it’s only 23,600 rubles.
