Recently, Vivo introduced the world’s first smartphone with 200W charging – iQOO 10 Pro. The Chinese edition of ChargerLab conducted a test of this very charge, and the result was really excellent: 11 minutes to a full charge! Moreover, in the first 2 minutes, the smartphone was charged by 28%, and in the first 5 minutes – by 62%. However, this is not the maximum that the iQOO 10 Pro charger is theoretically capable of, because during the entire charging time it never reached maximum power.
The first minute the charger worked at a power of about 178 W, then for about three minutes – at 150 W, and then after a couple of tens of seconds at 120 W it switched to a power of about 85 W, which lasted until the beginning of the ninth minute. Then the power stayed at around 70 W for about a minute, after which it began to gradually fall until it reached 30 W in the last seconds of charging. It is curious that throughout the entire charging process, the voltage remained almost stable (about 18 V), and power regulation was carried out precisely with the help of current, which dropped from 10 W at the beginning to 1.5 A at the end.
