On July 27, AMD released the Radeon Adrenalin graphics driver update version 22.7.1. The main innovation is the Noise Suppression smart noise reduction technology of our own design, which is an analogue of the already well-knownRTX Voice from NVIDIA. Last week, Lisa Su’s team accidentally (or intentionally) prematurely announced the technology – the company published a video and then quickly deleted it. Now it has been officially released.
AMD Noise Suppression
Like RTX Voice, competitive Noise Suppression uses machine learning and intelligent algorithms to eliminate unwanted noise in real time. The main purpose of the function is to reduce background noise and improve audio clarity, whether the situation is an important work hangout or eSports competition.
To use the AMD Noise Suppression Plugin, you need a Ryzen 5000 series processor or newer, or a Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card or newer.
OpenGL Update for Minecraft
Another major update in the new version of the Radeon Adrenalin graphics driver concerns the OpenGL standard – AMD reports a 92% performance increase in Minecraft OpenGL when using a Radeon RX 6000 series GPU in 4K mode. Unfortunately, no other game or GPU configuration is mentioned.
You can download the new version of the Radeon Adrenalin Graphics Driver Pack from the AMD website here.
