Research: Labor market crisis continues in Ukraine, wages are falling, and competition is growing

The personnel portal grc.ua studied changes in salaries in all professional areas and came to the conclusion that the labor market crisis continues in Ukraine. The main characteristics of this difficult period are: the decrease in new job offers, the complication of employment, the increase in competition for jobs, the tightening of employers’ requirements for candidates, the increase in the activity of job seekers, the optimization of personnel costs by companies and, in particular, the decrease in wages. On the other hand, the tangible drop in wages that had lasted since the end of March stopped in the vast majority of professional areas at the beginning of the summer.
