“This season we have launched our service in several new cities, where scooters have proved to be a reliable additional means of transportation. We have received a lot of positive feedback from users of the service. We are sure that Ivano-Frankivsk will not be an exception.
Electric scooters are a modern form of transport that makes life easier for citizens. Our users choose Bolt scooters for their convenience, affordability and sustainability. With our service, we help people to be mobile, unload city traffic and reduce the amount of harmful emissions into the air,” says Anton Milka, Head of Sharing Services Development at Bolt in Ukraine.
The company recalled that, subject to the rules of use, an electric scooter is the safest and most reliable transport for a wide range of users. To ensure a safe ride on Bolt scooters, you should heed the following safety tips.
So, for movement on an electric scooter, the speed limit is up to 20 km / h. Before the first ride, the user must be instructed on the safe operation of the scooter. By setting the beginner mode, you can independently limit the speed of movement to 15 km / h. The Bolt app also flags urban areas where e-scooters are not allowed. It is recommended to carry a helmet with you and wear it when traveling. Obey all signs posted on the streets while riding an electric scooter. Respect everyone around you who moves nearby. Avoid sidewalks whenever possible and use bike lanes instead. Give way to pedestrians. Park the electric scooter at bike racks or in specially designated areas.
Every ride with Bolt is insured. The insurance is valid from the moment of unblocking until the moment of blocking the scooter. It also applies to third parties who may suffer as a result of the actions of users of the electric scooter.
