Nova Poshta began to cooperate with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in several areas: logistical support and logistical support for rescue teams.
“Cooperation with the State Emergency Service is one of our priority areas, because it is the rescue teams who are the first to arrive at the scene of the tragedy, getting people out from under the rubble of destroyed buildings, and the pyrotechnic unit is responsible for clearing record-breaking areas,” says Andrey Grigorov, head of the humanitarian direction of Novaya Poshta. “So our job is to help save lives.”
One of the areas of partnership between Novaya Poshta and the State Emergency Service is the logistics of rescue teams. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine prepares lists of necessary goods, from electronic devices to cars, and the company is engaged in their search, purchase and delivery.
Also, Nova Poshta provides logistical support to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Thus, the institution can send the necessary cargo free of charge.
“Thanks to cooperation with Nova Poshta, the delivery of water purification stations to units in the Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporozhye regions was organized. Rescuers of the Zhytomyr region and Zaporozhye received petrol cutters, and fire-technical equipment was sent to the Kyiv region. In total, more than 15 tons of cargo were transported,” said Viktor Vitovetsky, Director of the Department for Organization of Civil Protection Measures of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Recall that within the framework of the Humanitarian Post, the Nova Poshta company cooperates with 300 volunteer organizations and has already delivered 61,800 items free of charge to those who find themselves in a difficult situation.
