One of the weaknesses of foldable smartphones has always been autonomy. Samsun, being the leader in this segment, has put a lot of effort into solving this problem and seems to have succeeded. Although the battery capacity of the fresh Galaxy Z Flip 4 has increased by only 400 mAh (from 3300 to 3700 mAh), the first users note an increase in the autonomy of the device by about 2 hours relative to the Flip 3. This is also confirmed by the autonomy test of the current flagships, conducted by TechDroider. And the results were interesting:
Both the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4 lasted longer on a single charge than the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which had a much larger 5,000 mAh battery. Almost simultaneously with the clamshells, the OnePlus 10 Pro left the game, taking third place. Silver went to Xiaomi 12 Ultra with a 4860 mAh battery, and iPhone 13 Pro Max won by an hour (!) margin. And this despite the fact that the capacity of its battery is the second from the end among all the subjects (4352 mAh).
