Freelancehunt analysts in a new study analyzed the situation on the freelance market for the period from 30.05 to 28.08 and concluded that the demand for freelance services in Ukraine increased by 30% over the summer compared to last year. According to the authors of the study, this was primarily facilitated by businesses interested in quick, inexpensive restoration and adaptation to new realities.
At the same time, in monetary terms, the summer market grew by 29.6% compared to the same period in 2021.
“Now more than ever, entrepreneurs need the help of diversified specialists. The one who reacts to changes the fastest wins. Hiring employees is too expensive for businessmen, and it’s not only about money, but also about time.
We see a stable increase in demand by 30%, but these are far from the limit values. The freelancing market is only gaining momentum and will continue to grow.”

In his Freelancehunt, he also draws attention to the rapid recovery of freelance activity after the outbreak of a full-scale war. So, in mid-March, 74% of freelancers returned to work, and about a month later – 96-98%.
Freelancers remain the easiest, yet inexpensive and safest option to close business assignments, especially when it comes to one-time projects. Given this, Freelancehunt predicts a further increase in demand for the services of Ukrainian freelancers and an “autumn boom” as more and more entrepreneurs fully resume operations and adapt their business to new realities.
