On September 7, Apple will hold its traditional autumn presentation – in addition to the iPhone 14 line of smartphones, several more important Pro-new products are expected to be there. And it’s not just the AirPods Pro 2 TWS headphones we mentioned in this morning’s news update, but the all-new Apple Watch Pro with enhanced protection for extreme sports. Apparently, they will receive at least one, and possibly even two additional physical buttons. This, at least, is indicated by the corresponding images of the 3D models published today by the 91mobiles website.
These drawings show a flat display and one new button on the left under the redesigned speaker vent, and a new ridge on the right that houses the microphone, button and Digital Crown, and the latter seems to have better protection against accidental clicks, if judged purely visually.
If this is true, and so far there is no reason to doubt the veracity of this information, then it seems that Apple really understands the needs of athletes involved in various sports and which, judging by previous reports, this model is primarily focused on. The touch screen is certainly good, but for extreme sports, physical buttons may be better and more convenient for many.
It is this design of the upcoming Apple Watch Pro that is shown by numerous images posted by several reliable insiders, including Sonny Dickson and DuanRui . They show off decorative accessories for the Apple Watch Pro, which according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman will feature a larger screen with low power mode, a larger battery and a “sturdy titanium case” compared to base models. 91Mobile, citing industry sources, says that the Apple Watch Pro will have a 49mm case, which is not the largest multi-sport watch, but close to the record. Apple now offers watches in sizes rangingfrom 38mm to 45mm .

Let’s confess that the Apple Watch Pro will also get better water protection, since the current Apple Watch WR50 rating is only suitable for swimming in shallow water, and not for sports such as kitesurfing, water skiing or scuba diving.
