The POCO brand introduced a new smartphone of the budget POCO M series. The main advantages of the POCO M5 are the 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, a design with references to the Pixel 6 in a pseudo-leather case, a 5000 mAh battery and a wide range of wireless interfaces, including NFC, IR port and Bluetooth 5.3. The powerful (for its class) chipset is complemented by LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 memory, the internal storage can be expanded with microSD memory cards up to 1 TB. To protect data, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner is used. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack. The software base is a POCO-tailored version of MIUI 13 on Android 12.

By cameras. The POCO M5 uses a triple main camera module, where the main one is a 50-megapixel sensor with f / 1.8 aperture. It is complemented by two “stubs” of 2 megapixels for macro and depth of field reading. The front camera is mounted in a teardrop-shaped cutout. Resolution – 5 MP. Both the main and front cameras can record video in 1080p at 30 frames per second.

POCO M5 is available in three colors (black, green, yellow) and three configuration options: 4/64, 4/128 and 6/128 GB. The price starts from 169 euros, while at the time of release, which will take place on September 6, there will be a discount of 20 euros on each modification. Sales will start on AliExpress.
