Early last week, Realme announced a plan to launch the new Realme UI 4.0 skin in September. The company has now published a roadmap for its rollout with a list of 16 devices that will be updated first. We’ll make a reservation right away that we are talking about early test builds of Realme UI 4.0 for Chinese market models – stable builds for global devices will appear later. So, the flagship Realme GT 2 Pro turned out to be the first in line, some owners of which already got access to the test assembly in August. In September, the update will arrive to the owners of the younger model Realme GT 2 and GT Neo 3.
Surprisingly, the latest flagship Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will only receive Realme UI 4.0 in October, along with the much earlier Realme Q5, Q5 Pro and last year’s Realme GT Master Explorer Edition. November will please only the owners of the original Realme GT, and in December the long-awaited update will go to the “popular” Realme GT Neo and GT Neo 2 models. Of course, in 2023 the list will be expanded and around that time Realme UI 4.0 will reach users of global versions of Realme smartphones.
