Along with the announcement of Phantom Liberty , CD Projekt Red also released a new patch for Cyberpunk 2077. Update 1.6 Edgerunners will be the last update for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, and owners of current generation devices will continue to receive the following updates.
Patch 1.6 Edgerunners brings a new wardrobe feature that allows you to change clothes without changing your armor rating or other stats. Now you won’t have to choose between clothes that look better or provide better performance. There is also a preview of clothing items when buying them from vendors.
In addition, the patch also adds cross-platform saves for users who are logged in. So you can finish the game on PS5 and then continue it on Steam Deck from the same place.
For PC players, the REDmod tool has become available. Although the game has supported mods for over a year now, the company says the official tool will help players manage mods, as well as create and install them. REDmod will allow you to add your own sounds, animations and scenarios to the game.
Patch 1.6 Edgerunners also includes many small additions. The Xbox Series S is getting a performance mode setting from the Series X, which will deliver 60fps while maintaining resolutions between 800p and 1080p. For fans of The Witcher, there is now an in-game arcade machine that allows you to play the game with Geralt’s horse. Additionally, the update adds content including “new hardware and new photo mode features” related to the upcoming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners animated series, which premieres on Netflix next week.
The new 1.6 Edgerunners patch is now available for download. The Xbox Series X version has a capacity of 39.6 GB.
