In December 2020, one of the most hyped games of recent years, Cyberpunk 2077, was released. The game from the creators of The Witcher has been expected for many years, but players on all platforms faced a huge number of technical problems, most clearly manifested on the consoles of the past generation of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (part was described in our review ). It got to the point that “cyberpunk” was removed from the PS Store, and the project itself was being finalized for more than a year. Well, this page of history has been turned, but another “gift” from CD Projekt RED awaits the owners of these consoles. Today was the announcement of the first story addition Phantom Liberty, which will be ready in 2023 (no exact dates). But here’s what’s interesting! At the end of the officially published “teaser”, speaking about support, the Poles mention only PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PC and Google Stadia.
Obviously, the company did not want to go through the hell of poor compatibility again, and therefore they decided to cancel the DLC for the previous generation, which is unlikely to please those who managed to purchase the game. Recall that before the end of this year for the next gene should be an improvement of the cult The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Further, all attention will be directed to the expansion of Cyberpunk 2077 and new projects.
