Microsoft partnered with HBO to create an Xbox S variant inspired by the House of the Dragon series. In the promotional poster, the exclusive game console sits proudly on the Iron Throne.
The throne, crafted from the swords of Aegon Targaryen’s slain enemies and fused with the dragon’s breath, traditionally belongs to the Lord of the Seven Kingdoms. The design of the Xbox Series S console perfectly echoes the design of the throne. On its wide side is the coat of arms of House Targaryen. The artwork symbolizes the player’s reign over the endless worlds available on Xbox Game Pass .
House of the Dragon is a prequel to Game of Thrones that takes place hundreds of years before the onset of Winter. HBO has already aired three episodes of the show, with a sequel airing every Sunday.
