Against the backdrop of an extensive sanctions policy against Russia, which was launched this spring, many brands have decided to leave the Russian market indefinitely. The coverage of the spheres turned out to be maximum, naturally, the sphere of technology was also touched. Some of the most striking were the exits of Sony (PlayStation in particular) and Microsoft (completely closed its representative office in Russia). However, more than others, users miss … Apple and Samsung.
This conclusion was reached in the Webbankir online platform, the survey materials of which TASS refers to. According to these data, 23.8% of respondents lack Samsung products, 15.8% – Apple, and most of all Russians miss IKEA (27.2%). Overall, 22.3% saw losses in electronics and household appliances. The survey involved 1,500 respondents throughout Russia.
Curiously, 83% of respondents do not feel a shortage of any goods, and 44.1% do not regret the departure of any companies. Obviously, this is due to the introduced “parallel import” procedure, which allows compensating for part of the products withdrawn from the official circulation. Apple, Samsung, PlayStation, and many other brands are transported to Russia in this way. Most Chinese brands did not leave Russia. Did you feel the exit of foreign companies?
