The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has certified the Sharp smartphone with the LP-02 index. Obviously, we are talking about the Leica Leitz Phone 2, because the first generation of watering-backgrounds was indexed LP-01. It, recall, was a premium version of the flagship smartphone Sharp Aquos R6 with a design in the style of German cameras and increased memory. Most likely, Sharp has prepared a similar luxury modification even now, but already on the basis of Sharp Aquos R7 . At the very least, the FCC documents indicate that the novelty is based on a smartphone with the identifier APYHRO00315, and so the FCC designates the Aquos R7 for NTT DoCoMo.

Recall, Sharp Aquos R7 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 6.6 “IGZO OLED display with a resolution of 2730×1260 pixels, a frequency of 120 Hz and Black Frame Insertion technology, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of ROM, a 5000 mAh battery, a slot for memory cards, a headphone jack, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner in the screen and a wireless charging coil. The main feature is a 1 “camera based on the same sensor as used in Xiaomi 12S Ultra – however, here this camera has a lower the role of “almost wide”; at the same time, there are no other cameras, except for a 2-megapixel plug, on the rear panel. We are waiting for official details about the Leica Leitz Phone 2.
