Monobank co-founder Oleg Gorokhovsky announced the abandonment of the Russian version of the interface – Russian language support will disappear with the release of the next update of the application (the exact date is not reported). The businessman published the corresponding statement on his pages in social networks.
In the future, the Ukrainian payment application monobank will be offered exclusively with the Ukrainian interface. Oleg Gorokhovsky explained this decision with a desire to distance himself from everything that is even slightly associated with the aggressor country of the Russian Federation, which continues to kill Ukrainians. He specifically noted that since the beginning of a full-scale war (since February 24), the number of clients of the Russian-language version of monobank has decreased by 30% – from 1.19 million to 838,291. language.
