Years go by, and budget smartphones continue to self-destruct. Not even a week had passed since the explosion of Redmi 6A, which took the life of a resident of India , as a new case occurred. And this time he is not connected with India, where such events occur most often. The brainchild of Xiaomi has again come into the spotlight – the hit Redmi Note 11T Pro , also known as POCO X4 GT (in Russia and Europe) and Redmi K50i (in India). A video posted by a Chinese resident shows a device whose body was literally torn apart by a battery explosion. The original video has already been removed from Chinese TikTok without explanation, but copies have survived on the Web. And although the circumstances of the explosion are still unknown, we recall that it is better not to put the smartphone under the pillow, especially during charging.
