The release of the iPhone 14 took place just a few days ago, and analysts are already predicting what Apple’s next generation smartphones will be like. In particular, experts expect Dynamic Island to appear on all iPhone 15 models , not just Pro versions.
Dynamic Island is a capsule-shaped cutout in the screen that houses the Face ID sensors and the front-facing camera. It replaced the notch familiar to owners of earlier versions on iPhone 14 Pro models. Apple has cleverly incorporated the notch into the rest of the UI, using animations that make the Dynamic Island appear larger as the user interacts with it.
The feature also displays notifications and, with further iOS updates, will allow you to keep track of “live action” (such as sports scores or taxi ride status) at the top of the screen.
Analyst Ross Young has suggested that the new notch will appear on all four iPhone 15 models, not just the Pro versions. If this is true, then Dynamic Island will become the standard for all new iPhones and finally move the notch that Apple first introduced on the iPhone X in 2017 (at least until the company comes up with another new design).
Yes, Dynamic Island expected on standard models on the 15. Still not expecting 120Hz/LTPO on standard models as supply chain can’t support it.

However, “basic versions,” Yang claims, still won’t get the 120Hz refresh rate LTPO screen that the iPhone 14 Pro’s always-on display and instant ProMotion feedback provides. The screen will remain exclusive to more expensive versions.
The addition of Dynamic Island to the iPhone 15 could make the transition to next year’s base model more attractive than the essentially minor transition from the iPhone 13 to the standard iPhone 14.
Yang has already predicted fairly accurately that the iPhone 13 Pro, 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models will feature ProMotion. He also predicted that the sixth-generation iPad mini will feature an 8.3-inch display, while today’s latest MacBook Air will have a slightly larger 13.6-inch screen.
Earlier it became known that Apple will implement the TSMC N3E process first in the market – in the iPhone and Mac in 2023.
