The main advantage of the older iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max over the base models are advanced cameras. All the more surprising is the discovery of some of the first owners of new products. Users massively report that in third-party applications like Snapchat or Instagram (banned in Russia), the matrix stabilization system, designed to compensate for shaking, starts to literally go crazy, doing literally the opposite: the camera starts to vibrate uncontrollably, so loudly that it becomes alarming for safety systems. There are more and more videos on the web showing this problem:
Fortunately, this does not happen with all instances of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. In addition, there is no such problem in the standard camera application, which may indicate its software nature. Therefore, if this behavior is not related to hardware defects, most likely the problem will be solved in one of the next iOS updates or in new versions of third-party applications. We are waiting for Apple’s comments.
