Sharp has introduced two Aquos Sense smartphones in Japan, the Sense 7 and Sense 7 Plus. The company has remained true to the main feature of this series – all-metal cases. In addition, the younger model has remained relatively compact (6.1″, 70mm wide), while the older design has taken over the niche of the Aquos Zero with a 6.4″ screen. As expected, Sharp names cameras as one of the main features of the novelty, although there is nothing interesting in terms of characteristics: 1 / 1.55 “main camera with a resolution of 50.3 megapixels and 8-megapixel width. Optical stabilization is not provided.
Among other characteristics of Sharp Aquos Sense 7, it is worth noting the Full HD + display, made using proprietary IGZO OLED technology with a maximum brightness of 1300 nits, Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal memory, 4570 mAh battery, 3.5 mm audio jack , memory card support, a fingerprint scanner at the bottom of the right side, IPx8 water resistance and compliance with the MIL-STD-810G standard. There is a small proprietary feature in place: a SIM tray that opens with your fingers without the help of a needle. The smartphone will be sold by Japanese operators NTT DoCoMo and au, as well as virtual operator UQ Mobile, in gold, blue and dark gray colors. A light purple version has been additionally released for NTT DoCoMo.
The main difference between Sharp Aquos Sense 7 Plus is the screen. In addition, this is the first smartphone in the Aquos Sense series with stereo speakers. Along with the screen size, the and battery (5050 mAh) and the rest of the specifications are left unchanged (Snapdragon 695G, 6 + 128 GB memory, audio jack, IPx8 + MIL-STD-810G, memory cards, 1300 nits) Available colors – dark gray, white and brown ; The smartphone will be sold only from the Japanese operator SoftBank.
