Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is in active development phase. This is also due to the fact that Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be announced unusually early – in mid-November. Earlier it was reported that the Galaxy S23 series will repeat its predecessor, the Galaxy S22, in many ways. Another proof is provided by the Chinese CCC agency, where the SM-S9180 model was lit up. This index points to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the top variant in the upcoming flagship series. And here is the charger attached to it. Guess what? Yes, the good old T800 with a power of 25 watts.

Note that 25-watt charging has been standard for Galaxy S smartphones for the fourth generation in a row, and considering the rather rare Galaxy S10 5G model, then all five years. The Galaxy S22 Ultra has an option in the form of a 45W unit, but its effectiveness is highly questionable . Why is that? Samsung believes that more powerful charging unnecessarily quickly wears out the battery, and this solution prolongs the life of smartphones. In the meantime, competitors are already exploring 200-watt options, so many believe that Samsung will still have to change to something more powerful. Once, but not now…
