The French company Crosscall, familiar to our audience as the creator of a smartphone with an insane 170-degree width (Trekker-X4) or a push-button phone with magnetic charging (Core-S4), knows how to come up with unusual features for its products, but does not get along well with modern hardware. However, Crosscall is now preparing its first smartphone with 5G support. The device, which will be called Core-Z5, has already been certified by Google Play and GCF. Most likely, the announcement will take place before the end of autumn.
Crosscall Core-X5
The characteristics of the Crosscall Core-Z5 are not yet known, except for a detailed list of supported communication technologies published by GCF. It includes 2G 900/1800MHz with EDGE Class 33, 3G Band 1/8 with HSDPA Cat.24, 4G Band 1/3/7/8/20/28/38/40, 5G SA/NSA Band 1/3/ 20/28/78, NFC with eSE and UICC. Most likely, like previous Crosscall smartphones, it will offer a protected case and support for X-Link magnetic accessories. We are waiting for new details about the first 5G smartphone of the French company Crosscall.
