More than 7 months have passed since the launch of the first models of the POCO X4 series, which means that Xiaomi is already close to launching the next generation – POCO X5. The first confirmation of this was the appearance of the device under the code name “Redwood” (“Mahogany”) in the IMEI database. At the same time, the device appeared in three versions for different markets at once: 22101320C (China), 22101320I (India) and 22101320G (global), and the first four digits of the number indicate plans to release the device in October. However, the latter is not an unshakable fact – sometimes release dates are shifted under the influence of circumstances.

According to Xiaomiui, we are talking about the POCO X5 5G model and even mentions some details of the filling: a 120Hz IPS screen and a Snapdragon 778G + chipset. True, this information is rather conjectural in nature, and therefore it is better to treat them with a fair amount of skepticism. In any case, the release of the POCO X5 family is just around the corner, which means that more details will soon surface on the Web.
