IQOO introduced the potentially hit IQOO Neo 7 in China. This time, the flagship is an inexpensive flagship built on the MediaTek chipset – Dimensity 9000+ is at the heart of it. It comes with a Pro+ display chip as a bonus, which helps take the strain off the chipset and boost frame rates. The second key highlight of the model is a 6.78″ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 1080p resolution and high levels of brightness, contrast and color accuracy. Hi-Res Audio.
Now about the camera. Don’t be fooled by the square sensor design. This is not a periscope telephoto, but just a 2MP macro plug that helps Sony IMX766V’s 50MP main sensor with opto-stub and 8MP wide. The front camera is placed in the hole in the center of the display. In software, the company highlights Motion deblur technologies (improves clarity when shooting on the move), ROI Remosaic (improves the quality of distant plans), as well as Night mode.
IQOO Neo 7 is available in three colors – orange, blue and ultramarine. There are four memory configurations – 8/128 GB in the “base” and 12/512 GB at maximum. The price starts from 2699 yuan. Sales are only announced in China so far.
