Along with a couple of Redmi Note 12 Pro ( all the details ), the company showed two special versions with Redmi Note 12 Pro + with a 200-megapixel camera at the heart. Each of them has one distinctive feature: the Redmi Note 12 Trend Edition has a design with a fluorescent back and corresponding packaging, the Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition has a record 210-W charging with a claimed full charge speed of 9 minutes. The company claims that such powerful charging is completely safe, achieved through dual-stream GaN energy supply. True, for the sake of its implementation, 700 mAh of battery capacity had to be sacrificed (4300 mAh versus 5000 mAh). The rest of the smartphones are identical.
Redmi Note 12 Trend Edition and Discovery Edition are available in 8/256 GB versions (curiously, this time they did not take the top configuration). The price is 2599 and 2399 yuan, respectively (yes, the “lightning” is a little cheaper). The start of sales is scheduled for next week. An appearance outside of China seems unlikely.
