In early October, informant Ross Young, who works in the display industry, announced the use of IPS screens in the fourth generation iPhone SE, while all older models have long since switched to OLED. However, now he has returned with a message that Apple is still undecided on the screens of the device. It is reported that IPS solutions with diagonals from 5.7 “to 6.1″ from two suppliers are under consideration, as well as 6.1” OLED displays – also from two manufacturers. It is possible that the difficulties in choosing are associated with cheaper OLED panels, which Apple certainly wants to implement in the new iPhone SE.In any case, Apple still has about half a year before the expected release of the device.
