Samsung and Apple have a long history of relationship. The two giants are not only partners (Apple buys a lot of semiconductor components from Samsung), but also competitors in the mobile device market. Koreans love to play pranks on their opponents, and they did it again in the new Galaxy ad. The theme is foldable smartphones – in this area, Samsung is the locomotive of the entire market, and Apple is in the development stage of its debut device. According to the plot, the “Yabloko” climbs over the fence between Samsung and Apple, where he sees folding gadgets, and his “compatriots” stop him and say that you just have to wait a bit. “Wait… That’s what we do!” – disappointedly sum up the owners of the iPhone.
Note that the slow introduction of innovation is a conscious approach of Apple. Instead, the company from Cupertino focuses on the careful study of certain technologies. This was the case, in particular, with face recognition, wireless charging, and in the new season also a 48-megapixel camera. Which approach is more correct determines the market, and the numbers do not speak in favor of Samsung.
