Last month, Infinix announced the flagship Zero Ultra smartphone, and yesterday it announced an even more powerful device: Zero 5G 2023. However, now the description of the novelty has already been removed from the company’s website, so it’s difficult for us to say whether it is considered announced or not. Nevertheless, all the characteristics are known – and, not surprisingly, they basically repeat the Infinix Zero 5G that was released a year ago. There are two main differences: firstly, the MediaTed Dimensity 900 was replaced by a more modern and powerful MediaTed Dimensity 1080 chipset. Secondly, the telephoto lens was replaced with a plug, after which only one useful camera remained in the smartphone: 50 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP.
The timing of the start of sales and the geography of distribution of Infinix Zero 5G 2023 is still unknown, but it is known that the smartphone will be presented in three colors (white, black and orange) and the only memory modification: 8 + 256 GB. The price is still unknown, as well as whether the device will reach Russia. On the one hand, the original Zero 5G was not sold in this country; on the other hand, recently Infinix has dramatically expanded its presence in Russian retail.
