A couple of months ago, Google ended software support for the Pixel 3a and 3a XL, and now it’s the turn of a couple of other Google phones. This time, the life cycle has come to an end with the Pixel 4 series, which launched in 2019 and has been regularly receiving software updates for three years. The October security patches, which were released recently, put an end to a series of device updates, and Android 13 became the final version of the OS for them. However, Google has a tradition of releasing the final patch update a few months after the end of the support cycle, which means that the owners of Pixel 4 and 4 XL, there is still a chance to get a small bonus sometime in late winter or early spring.
