Honor is preparing to present its main smartphones for the whole of 2023 – Honor Magic 5. @RODENT950 has already told a lot about the technical parameters of the three models of the series , but I would like to separately highlight the issue of biometric protection, since the potential implementation by Honor has not yet been seen anywhere (in any case on the international market). According to a well-known leaker, the Honor Magic 5 Ultimate will feature a combination of 3D face recognition and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, combining the advantages of iPhone 14 Pro (Face ID) and Galaxy S22 (finger scanner) biometric security.
Such a tandem will also be in Honor Magic 5 Pro, but there is a nuance – it will only be so in the international version, but the “Chinese” will receive an optical finger scanner. As for the Honor Magic 5, it is expected to offer 2D face recognition (simple front camera) and an optical fingerprint scanner. What do you think of such a set of technical characteristics?
