Energy supply has already been restored for more than half of the residents of Dnipro. All municipal services of the city are continuously working together with energy companies to restore the power supply.
As Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov reported in his Telegram, the city also launched all pumping stations.
“Now more than half of the residents of the Dnipro already have electricity… Hospitals maintain a stable power supply (and the ability to reconnect to generators). The city has started all pumping stations. Residents of the left bank already have water. On the right bank, we expect it to be supplied sometime in the next few hours,” he wrote mayor.
Filatov added that all boiler houses on the right bank of the Dnipro are working and supplying heat to houses. At the same time, on the left bank of the city, heating is still being received by those requested from Prydniprovska TPP.
The mayor also reminded that “Points of invincibility” are opening in all district administrations and social centers. There is heat, water and electricity.
The situation with electricity supply in Ukraine
According to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the situation with electricity remains difficult in almost all regions. But it is still the most difficult in the capital and 15 regions.
At the same time, power supply was restored to 70% of consumers in Kharkiv and the region. Thousands of people still remain without electricity.
As noted in “Ukrenergo”, as of 19.00 on November 24, electricity producers provided about 50% of consumption needs. A significant part of thermal power plants and hydroelectric power plants is already in operation.
