Meanwhile, Last of Us is getting a big-budget series on HBO, Metal Gear Solid is being made into a movie, and Ubisoft’s long-dormant stealth series Splinter Cell is getting a radio show.
The BBC has announced the launch of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Firewall – a radio adaptation of the novel of the same name, which was released this year. The adaptation received 8 episodes, which will be released every Friday, starting from December 2. The production will be available worldwide on the BBC Sounds radio and podcast app.
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Firewall tells about the next task for Sam Fisher, in which he needs to find and train young operatives. But the mission will be complicated by the appearance of a killer connected to Fisher’s past.
In Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Firewall, Sam Fisher is voiced by actor Andonis Anthony. He was joined by Daisy Head, Rosalie Craig, Sasha Dhawan and Nikesh Patel. The series was adapted for radio by Sebastian Bachkiewicz and Paul Cornell, who also wrote Doctor Who television episodes, novellas and radio dramas.
