The restoration of Kyiv’s critical infrastructure is being completed. Water and heat are already available in almost all houses, and the work on restoring the electricity supply should be completed tomorrow.
The mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, announced this on the air of the “Kyiv” TV channel.
“The city authorities are doing everything possible to restore services for every citizen of Kyiv. There is water in the whole city. Today, almost all the houses in the city of Kyiv, 95%, have heat supply. In the near future, I am sure, it will be 100%. I hope tomorrow we will be able to get to the scheduled outage schedules when we can clearly speak and orient the people of Kyiv by the time of the power outage. It is much more convenient to charge power banks in order to know when you can use electricity,” Klitschko said.
He thanked the workers of communal enterprises for their round-the-clock work.
“More than 3,000 employees of our utility companies, primarily Kyivteploenergo, have been working around the clock to restore everything. It has been several weeks. They have made it impossible to restore everything. We will continue to work,” the mayor of Kyiv emphasized.
