Russia wants to maintain the themes of the strikes, but not increase their power.
For several days in a row, Ukrainians have been warned that they should be ready for a new massive missile attack by the Russian Federation. The aggressor country is going to attack peaceful cities again, but it plans not only to try to leave Ukrainians without electricity.
Analysts of the ISW Institute for the Study of War revealed the plan of the Russian Federation and told why a new attack on Ukraine is being prepared. In fact, Putin cannot increase the number of missiles and the scale of new attacks.
“Russian forces are likely preparing to launch a new wave of missile strikes against Ukraine next week, but such preparations are likely aimed at maintaining the recent pace of strikes, rather than increasing it due to ongoing limitations on Russia’s missile arsenal,” – noted at ISW.
Analysts reminded that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the press secretary of the operational command “South” Nataliya Humenyuk already talked about the preparation of the missile attack. Russian propagandists also talked about the aggressor’s plans.
“Russian bloggers also claimed that the current grouping of the Russian Air Force and the Navy means that in the coming days, Russian forces will launch another series of missile strikes,” the experts added and emphasized that the aggressor’s stockpile is not being replenished, and therefore the Russians are running out of missiles. .
