The Russian Federation is currently concentrating its main efforts on conducting an offensive in the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions with the aim of entering the administrative border of the Donetsk region.
In order to destabilize the situation in Ukraine, the Russian Federation will continue to launch missile attacks on the infrastructure.
According to the correspondent of , Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Malyar said this at a briefing on the situation on the front of the Russian-Ukrainian war. According to her, the Kremlin’s strategic goals for Ukraine have remained unchanged.
“Moscow has focused on destroying the energy system of our country by launching massive missile strikes on infrastructure facilities. In order to destabilize the situation in Ukraine, the Russian Federation will continue to launch missile strikes and carry out offensive measures in the Donetsk direction,” said Malyar.
She noted that the greatest activity of the enemy is now in the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions.
“In order to reach the administrative border of the Donetsk region, the Russian Federation is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions. In other directions, Russia is focusing on keeping the captured territories,” the Deputy Minister of Defense informed.
According to Malyar, the enemy is currently regrouping troops, restoring the combat capability of individual units and units, and also continuing the formation of new units and units with the involvement of mobilized personnel for their further direction in Ukraine.
She added that at the same time the socio-political situation in the temporarily occupied territories continues to deteriorate, in particular due to the arrival of a significant number of recently mobilized Russian servicemen.
“Most of the occupiers who arrived, being in public places and markets where they buy food, drinks, and warm clothes, behave defiantly, show rudeness and provoke clashes with the local population,” said Malyar.
What is happening at the front
As you know, the Russian occupiers continue to attack civilian infrastructure. In total, they shelled the territory of the Kherson region 34 times during the day.
Also, Russian troops covered the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region from “Hrady” at night.
According to the General Staff, the command of the Russian Federation forbade its soldiers to unload/load on the railway less than 100 kilometers from Ukrainian positions.
It is known that Russia has significant reserves to strengthen its groups in the Dnieper and Orichiv directions in the north of Crimea.
In addition, according to the command of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia took the “caliber” carrier from the Black Sea.
