The President urged not to repeat the narratives of Russia, which is trying to calculate the value of the international aid provided to Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that the war will end either when Ukraine wins or when the Russian Federation wants it. At the same time, if Ukraine does not resist Russia’s aggression, then this war will spread to other territories, and maybe even to other continents.

As stated in a message on the website of the head of state, Zelenskyy, answering the question of when, in his opinion, the war will end during The New York Times DealBook summit, noted that Ukrainians are realists. They understand that they are at war with the Russian Federation, and on their territory the largest military operations since the Second World War are taking place, which are accompanied by war crimes: torture, rape, rocket attacks on civilian objects and infrastructure.

“It will end when we win or when the Russian Federation wants it. It may happen that the Russian Federation will only when it feels that it is weak, isolated and has no partners,” the president said.

That is why, according to him, the support of Ukraine from partners and the entire free world is so important. The head of state expressed gratitude for the help and support of Ukrainian citizens who were forced to seek refuge in various countries of the world, escaping from the war.

At the same time, Zelensky urged not to repeat the narratives of Russia, which tries to estimate the value of international aid provided to Ukraine or to compare the war in our country with other conflicts. The head of state noted that the cost of this war is measured first of all in the lives of Ukrainian citizens who are fighting for freedom and democracy not only in Ukraine, but throughout the world.

“Because if Ukraine does not hold out, this war will spread to other territories and, maybe, even to other continents,” he emphasized.

Zelenskyi expressed his conviction that in the matter of business relations with Russia, there should be a common position of the world, including citizens, business representatives regarding restrictions on contacts and opportunities for cooperation, because only this can make Russians think about the policy of their state.

“Society in Russia itself chooses its politicians and leaders. President Putin is influenced by his society. And if they live comfortably, if the relations of other states with them continue, if the relations of other states continue with their business, then they will not feel any discomfort. For for them, this story on the territory of our state will be a “special operation”, as Putin calls it, and not a war that takes lives,” the head of state said.

He also called on the participants of the summit to support Ukraine through the UNITED24 fundraising platform, which has opened a collection for urgent needs and projects that help our country stand up against the Russian aggressor.

The war in Ukraine: the latest details

The Russian military, who came to Ukraine with the war, are suffering large-scale losses. As of the morning of November 30, 2022, the Russian Federation has already lost 88,880 Putin soldiers.

In addition, Russia has not attacked the territory of Ukraine with Iranian drones for about two weeks. Yuriy Ignat, a representative of the Air Force, noted that it is likely that the first batch of drones that arrived in Russia eventually ran out.

At the same time, the analyst of the Royal Institute for Defense Studies (RUSI) Michael Clark said that Russia is planning several “fairly large air attacks” on Ukraine
