“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Fate” – the first trailer of the fifth part of the adventure film saga with Harrison Ford in the Ukrainian dubbing

Today is the day of trailers for high-profile movie premieres: after Paramount with the new Transformers, Disney and its studios took over the baton: Marvel released a trailer for the third film in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy series, and Lucasfilm released a trailer for the new movie Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. And the Ukrainian film distribution company Kinomania Film Distribution, as usual, did not make itself wait with a localized version of the trailer.

The fact that 80-year-old Harrison Ford will return to the role of the famous archaeologist is no longer news, and that Indiana Jones and the Dial of Fate is the first film in the series not to be directed by Steven Spielberg; this time, James Mangold (“The Outsiders”, “Logan”) sat in the director’s chair. In addition to Harrison Ford, Antonio Banderas starred in the fifth Indiana Jones – by the way, his character was shown for the first time. Also in the film you can see Phoebe Waller-Bridge, John Rhys-Davies, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann (“Submarine”), Boyd Goldbrook (“Logan”), Toby Jones (“Jurassic World 2”) and others – exactly a week ago, Empire released a bunch of footage of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who played the female lead in the film.

The details of the plot of the sequel to the adventures of “Indiana Jones” are still being kept under wraps by the authors, but a recent article in Empire magazine reported the intention to return to 1944, when the events of the first film of the adventure film trilogy “Raiders of the Lost Ark” took place. To shoot the scene with the young Harrison Ford, they used several of the latest rejuvenation technologies at once, including the development of the Industrial Light & Magic studio. In addition, the authors focused mainly on the hero, and even got an old leather jacket to recreate it as accurately as possible. Actually, several frames with a rejuvenated Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones can be seen in the trailer. And it must be said that the computer processing is really impressive and at the same time frightening.
