In Belarus, the president has not changed since 1994.
The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Oleksandr Lukashenko, can abdicate under the condition that he is in danger of death, according to the head of the BYPOL Association of Security Forces and a member of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus, Oleksandr Azarov.
“Lukashenko has repeatedly stated that he will not voluntarily flee from power. I do not believe that he will agree to new democratic elections and say that he has decided to leave,” he told Espresso.
Azarov emphasized that Lukashenka should be punished at the tribunal.
“A possible option is when there will be conditions in which he will understand that it is over. He will not hold out in power and may not save his life. Then he can go to negotiations – so that he and his family will be allowed to leave somewhere with guarantees of safety and hold democratic elections. And he will go somewhere to the Arab Emirates and hand over power voluntarily,” Azarov added.
The regime of the Belarusian dictator Lukashenka
In 1994, Lukashenko came to power and since then has not left the chair of the president of Belarus.
The usurper was not joking after the sudden death of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Volodymyr Makei. Lukashenko ordered to change his cook, security and service.
It will be recalled that the ex-head of the SBU Valentyn Nalyvaichenko predicted that the Lukashenka regime would fall by the end of 2022.
