Individual statistics and “Superpowers”
This year, Reddit is bringing back Personalized Insights, a feature that generates statistics translated and localized for users’ languages, including summaries of how long they’ve spent on the platform, the content they’ve interacted with the most, and the communities they’ve viewed or joined. Just click on Reddit’s little narwhal icon to view the review.
At the end of an individual review, users can also receive a Reddit Superpower card with a rating of Epic, Legendary, or Rare (depending on how active you’ve been on the site). The higher the rating, the brighter the map. It will display the three communities you visited the most, your username and avatar.
Earlier, YouTube named the most popular videos and channels in 2022, and Apple and Google published their rankings of the best games and applications. The audio service Spotify also launched Wrapped 2022 (users were able to view analytics on their own annual music preferences) and published general platform statistics on the most popular artists and their works.
