In the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions, the enemy continues to try to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian troops.

During the day, the Russian occupiers carried out five airstrikes and carried out more than 40 attacks from rocket salvo systems.

“During the day, the enemy carried out 5 airstrikes and carried out more than 40 attacks from rocket salvo systems,” the General Staff said.

It is noted that there is still a threat of the enemy launching strikes using missiles and attack drones on the objects of the energy system and critical infrastructure throughout the territory of Ukraine.

In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the situation has not undergone any significant changes, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.

In the Slobozhansk direction, the enemy shelled the districts of 10 settlements of the Kharkiv region; in the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions, the enemy inflicted fire damage near four settlements in the Luhansk region and five in the Kharkiv region.

“In the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions, the enemy continues to make attempts to break through the defenses of our troops. The areas of 26 settlements were hit by fire from tanks and artillery… The occupiers also launched an air strike near Klishchiivka,” the message reads.

In the Novopavlivskyi direction, the occupiers are defending themselves and shelling the positions of Ukrainian troops with mortars, barrel and rocket artillery near the settlements of Velika Novosilka, Zolota Niva, Pavlivka and Vugledar of the Donetsk region.

“Vremivka in the Donetsk region and Temuvannya, Olhivske, Gulyaipole, Dorozhnyanka, Orihiv, Novoandriivka, Shcherbaki, Lobkovo and Plavna in the Zaporizhia region were damaged by enemy fire in the Zaporizhia region,” the General Staff reported, adding that the occupiers, in particular the city of Kherson.
