All novelties are already available for purchase in China, later they will reach Europe.
At the global presentation, along with the Xiaomi 13 smartphones and the Xiaomi Host mini PC, the Chinese tech giant expanded its range of products with new headphones, watches and a “smart” speaker.
Smart watch Xiaomi Watch S2 with the function of measuring body composition
The novelty is available in two sizes: 42 and 46 mm. In the first case, the watch is equipped with a screen with a diameter of 1.34 inches, in the second case, the diameter is 1.47 inches. In both cases, an AMOLED panel with a resolution of 466×466 pixels and a brightness of up to 600 nits is used.
Smart functions include a heart rate and SpO2 sensor, as well as a function for measuring body composition (fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, etc.) In addition, there is a skin temperature sensor, which is still very rare.
Of course, the watch is able to track various sports activities, is equipped with a sleep and stress tracker, and also has 5 ATM (50 m) water protection. There are more than 100 sports modes for all occasions.
Watch 2S has already gone on sale in China. For the 42 mm version, Xiaomi demands from 1,000 yuan (approximately 5,000 UAH). The large version will cost buyers 1,100 yuan (approximately UAH 6,000).
Buds 4 headphones with active noise canceling and Hi-Res support
Externally, the headphones resemble the “apple” AirPods 3 – they are tabs (without ear pads). Each earbud has two speakers and a 30 mAh battery. A battery with a capacity of 480 mAh is installed in the case. This is enough for 6 hours of playback, and taking into account the battery of the case, it reaches 30 hours.
Among other features: active noise reduction system, “transparency” mode, as well as Hi-Res certification. There are three built-in microphones that are used, among other things, for ANC and audio transmission during calls. At the same time, the headset can be connected to two devices at once.
The sale has already started in China for 699 yuan (~3700 UAH).
Sound Pro smart speaker
The peculiarity of the gadget is that its upper part is made of transparent material and is equipped with illumination that works in time with the music. Simply put, this is light music.
Xiaomi talks about high sound quality, while only SBC and AAC codecs are supported. The device contains seven speakers, including a three-section passive radiator and a subwoofer.
You can also highlight 360-degree sound (sound is directed in all directions), Sound Pro 2.0 technology, which is responsible for auto-adjusting the sound quality, as well as the Nightingale algorithm, which adjusts the sound so that it best matches the sound of the instruments during recording.
The column is available only in black color for 999 yuan (~5000 UAH).
