LG has shared more details about its first 27-inch OLED gaming monitor with a resolution of 1440p (2560×1440 pixels) and a refresh rate of 240Hz – the UltraGear 27GR95QE-B. As it turned out, these are not the only impressive characteristics of this model.
The LG UltraGear 27GR95QE-B gaming monitor provides coverage of 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color space and a response time of the matrix when switching between gray levels of only 0.03 ms. In addition to the AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible certification mentioned earlier, the device is also VESA Adaptive-Sync certified. The monitor supports HDR10 and provides a maximum dynamic contrast ratio of 1500000:1, so it should perform well not only in games, but also when displaying multimedia content. Unfortunately, the LG website does not specify which DisplayHDR certification is used in this case. So far, it only says a peak brightness of only 200 nits, which is most likely a mistake.
The novelty is equipped with an RGB lighting system and a stand that allows you to adjust the height (by 11 cm), tilt and rotation of the display plane. Owners of game consoles of the new generation will be pleased with the presence of two HDMI 2.1 connectors. There is also one DisplayPort connector, an audio jack for connecting headphones and a microphone, an SPDIF output, a USB 3.0 input and two USB 3.0 outputs.
The LG UltraGear 27GR95QE-B gaming monitor is already available for pre-order on the company’s website at a price of $999.99. Actual deliveries will begin in January 2023.
