Oppo posted a video on its YouTube channel demonstrating Qric in action.
Qric is an acronym for Quadrupedal Robotic with Intelligent Controller. Oppo itself calls Qric a companion robot – actually, around his interaction with a little boy and the events that develop in the video. The robot brings toys to the baby, collects parcels from the courier and can receive a video call from parents.

In 2020, its product, called Spot, cost $74,500 and was used for a variety of purposes, from remote examination of suspected COVID-19 patients and patrolling various facilities to surveying radioactive waste storage sites in Chernobyl.
