Yesterday, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the Russian invaders in the areas of 16 settlements. In addition, the defenders of our country “fried” the enemy and inflicted five blows on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the Rashists.

In other directions, the enemy is trying to restrain the actions of units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, is shelling the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian objects along the entire line of contact, and is carrying out engineering equipment of defensive lines and positions.

“During the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Novoehorivka, Makiivka, Chervopopivka and Belogorivka of the Luhansk region, Verkhnyokamianske, Soledar, Yakivlivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Kurdyumiv, Donetsk,” the message says .

It is noted that the aviation of the Defense Forces of the past day made five strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy.

“Over the past day, units of the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit 2 control points and 6 areas of concentration of personnel of the Russian occupiers and a warehouse of fuel and lubricants,” the message says.

During the day, the enemy launched seven missile strikes, five of which hit the civilian infrastructure of the city of Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, and also fired 79 rockets from multiple rocket systems, including the city of Kherson.

“There are casualties among civilians,” the General Staff said.

There remains a threat of the enemy launching air and missile strikes on civilian infrastructure throughout Ukraine.

“In the Volyn, Polis, Siver, and Slobozhan areas, the situation remains without significant changes, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected,” the report says.

The General Staff also said that the enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of the areas of settlements: Seredyna-Buda and Ryasne of Sumy Oblast, as well as Strylyachcha, Staritsa, Ogurtsevo, Gatyshche, Volohivka, Okhrimivka, Chavunivka, Ambarne, Dvorichna, Kamianka of Kharkiv Oblast.

In the Kupyansk direction, the districts of four settlements of the Kharkiv region and four more – of the Luhansk region, were shelled by tanks and the entire range of artillery. In the Lyman direction, the enemy fired tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery at the areas of three settlements in Donetsk and one in Luhansk region.

“In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy fired tanks and artillery of various types in the areas of almost twelve settlements,” the General Staff said.

In the Avdiyiv direction, the enemy shelled almost 20 settlements with tanks, mortars, and rocket artillery; in the Novopavlivskyi direction, the occupiers fired artillery of various types in five settlements of the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy shelled Vremivka settlement of Donetsk region and 14 settlements of Zaporizhzhia region with tanks and the entire spectrum of artillery; in the Kherson direction, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of the settlements of the Kherson region bordering the contact line, the most affected were Antonivka, Chornobayivka and the city of Kherson.
